Our Cover Girl
Who's that girl on the cover of "Model for a Revolution?" She's iconic 60s fashion model Peggy Moffitt, photgraphed by the renowned William Claxton, who has not only shot thousands of fashion images throughout his career, but is one of the most highly regarded jazz and rock photographers of all time. The song "Peggy Moffitt" (track 6 of the new disc) sings the praises of Miss Moffitt and Mr. Claxton and their work with the late great fashion designer and innovator Rudi Gernreich during the 1960s, 70s and into the 80s. The Handcuffs were given personal permission by Mr. Claxton and Miss Moffitt to use their stunning images for the CD artwork.
